Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly preparing for another joint public appearance in the coming days.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be heading to New York City to receive an award for their mental health advocacy.
The couple will accept the Humanitarians of the Year Award from Project Healthy Minds at the nonprofit’s World Mental Health Day Gala on Thursday, October 9, days after making a surprise appearance alongside Kevin Costner.
On the following day, October 10, they will attend the organization’s fourth annual World Mental Health Day.
As reported by People magazine, their Archewell Foundation will collaborate with Project Healthy Minds to co-produce a series of discussions on how individuals can contribute to the mental health sector.
The Lost Screen Memorial, an art installation unveiled by the couple in New York in April, will also be showcased.
This installation pays tribute to the lives of children lost to online harm and advocates for online safety reform, reports the Express.
The initiative is a part of the No Child Lost to Social Media campaign, spearheaded by The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Network, which was officially launched last year by Harry and Meghan to assist families affected by online harm.
This news follows closely on the heels of the Sussexes being seen mingling with first responders at Costner’s charity concert in California just last weekend.
Harry and Meghan made their first joint public appearance in 21 weeks at the One805LIVE! event, held at Costner’s beachfront estate in Carpinteria, to aid in fundraising for the local community’s first responders.
Meghan briefly joined Harry on stage and was spotted radiating joy during their visit.
