Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Reveals If She Uses “Weight Loss Shots”
Christine Brown is sharing the reality of her weight loss journey. In a September 24th Instagram post, the Sister Wife star reveals she lost 40 pounds by posting sidebyside photos of her before and after body transformation. And while she denies using injectable weight loss drugs to achieve her fitness goals, she offers her support to those who opted to go that route, writing in the caption, “Weight loss shots are helping so many women make progress, and I’m all for it.” Nonetheless, the 53-year-old, who ended her polygamous marriage to Cody Brown in 2021, cautions her followers about potential quote setbacks that could occur while using the injectables, including quote sluggish digestion, and low energy. But Christine’s appearance isn’t the only thing she’s recently got candid about. In her new memoir titled Sister Wife, a memoir of faith, family, and finding freedom, she revealed a complex dynamic with her former sister wife, Mary Brown, with the latter often criticizing her weight, intelligence, and parenting style. As she writes in the book, I didn’t trust that she would be kind to me, particularly in front of other people. She said demeaning things about me when she was with her family in front of me. Christine continues, “Even as she had an abundance of rules for us to follow about folding towels or whatever, she played her country music so loud that we could hear it throughout the house. It didn’t matter if a baby was napping or if Janelle or I were trying to catch up on sleep or spending quiet time with a kid.” Ultimately, Christine admits that a large contributor to the tension came down to their close proximity during the arrangement. None of us would have chosen to be best friends. And if we had, the little things that drove us nuts about each other wouldn’t have mattered if we didn’t spend so much time together. [Music]
