Kate Middleton treats royal children to magical visit on ‘Harry Potter’ TV set

The Princess of Wales brought some magic into her children’s lives with a special trip to the set of the upcoming Harry Potter television series.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate Middleton took Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to visit the production on Friday, Sept. 26. Prince William was away in Scotland with King Charles at the time.

On set, the young royals met the new cast — Dominic McLaughlin (Harry Potter), Alastair Stout (Ron Weasley) and Arabella Stanton (Hermione Granger) — as well as director Mark Mylod.

The visit proved especially exciting for Prince Louis, who reportedly had the chance to ride the Hogwarts Express.

“It was so special,” a source told the outlet. “The children met the young actors and the director. There was only one night of filming there, so it really was a magical ticket.”

Moreover, the royal family has long shared their love of the Harry Potter franchise, as per the outlet.

In 2013, Kate and William toured the Warner Bros. Studio London, where they tried out wands and explored Diagon Alley. Queen Camilla and King Charles have also read the books to their grandchildren.

The highly anticipated Harry Potter TV adaptation, produced by HBO and Warner Bros. Discovery, is set to premiere in early 2027. Each season will cover one book from J.K. Rowling’s iconic series.
