[Music] Dolly Parton is postponing her Las Vegas residency due to health challenges. The legendary country singer, who is 79 years old, announced the news via Instagram Sunday, revealing that she needs to undergo a few procedures per her doctor’s orders. She explained, “I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that unfortunately I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I’ve been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. And the self-deprecating diva even threw in a joke about her plastic surgery, writing, “As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000mi checkup. Although, it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon. In all seriousness, given this, I’m not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see and the show that you deserve to see. The nineto-five songwriter assured her fans that she will still be able to work on her projects in Nashville and she’s not quitting the business anytime soon. The limited run show titled Dolly Live in Las Vegas was scheduled to kick off in December at the Coliseum at Caesar’s Palace. Earlier this month, Parton pulled out of an appearance at her theme park Dollywood due to another health issue, kidney stones. In July, Parton shared that she was also taking a break from music following the death of her beloved husband, Carl Dean. The two were married for nearly 60 years before he passed away in March. Well, hang in there, Dolly. We are rooting for you and we’ll be waiting for you once you’re back in action.
