Russell Crowe showed off his major weight loss at the Zurich Film Festival in Switzerland over the weekend.

During a screening of his movie Nuremburg, Crowe, 61, accepted the Golden Eye Award for Lifetime Achievement. He rocked a classic navy blue suit paired with a green patterned tie for the occasion.

“Ultimately, when I go to work, I take your expectations as an audience with me because I want to touch your heart. I want to open your mind. I want to thrill you. I want to scare you. I want to confront you. I want to make you cry, and I want to make you laugh. And I want to celebrate humanity with you and for you. You are the reason I go to work,” he told the crowd. “Thank you very much.”

Many credit his fiancée, Britney Theriot, as a source of motivation.

Crowe’s summer appearances have sparked talk over his slimmer physique. In June, he first stunned fans at the Golden Bee Awards, and was later seen looking noticeably slimmer at Wimbledon in early July. His weight loss also drew attention during the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival at the premiere of Nuremburg.
