Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sentenced To 4+ Years After Emotional Plea To Judge

Shawn Diddy Combmes will remain behind bars. The music mogul was sentenced to more than four years in prison and a $500,000 fine on October 3rd, months after being found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted on more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Prosecutors had asked for 11 years, while the defense had argued Comolmes should receive a maximum of 14 months, including time served, which would have meant an almost immediate release. Combmes learned his fate in a New York City court after asking for leniency in a four-page letter expressing remorse for his violent past and in a 12minute home video the defense presented that highlighted his devotion to fatherhood and charity work. In direct remarks to the judge, Combmes said per CNN, quote, “I beg your honor for mercy while issuing further apologies to domestic violence victims and his own accusers, including Cassie Ventura, whom he was seen physically abusing in now infamous 2016 surveillance footage. Family members from Combmes’s mother to six of his seven children were present for the hearing with the children addressing the court as a group on their father’s behalf. Many of them reportedly sobbing as Combmes himself shed tears while they spoke. CNN reports that in his announcement, Judge Aaron Subbermanian explained, quote, “A substantial sentence must be given to send a message to abusers and victims alike that abuse against women is met with real accountability.” Ventur’s attorney reacted to the sentencing in a statement to NBC News which read, “While nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combmes, the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious offenses he committed. We are confident that with the support of her family and friends, Miss Ventura will continue healing knowing that her bravery and fortitude have been an inspiration to so many. [Music]

    1. They will Challenge it and be out soon!!

He was not charged with domestic abuse!! He will challenge it and be out soon.

You can't sentence someone on charges they were not found guilty with

    2. Judge was paid off. What a crooked society we live in. He still wasnt charged with half of his crimes. He's responsible for many deaths in Hollywood, especially all the ones that have complications from pneumonia on their death certificates.

    3. He should have gotten at least 15 years if not the full 20. How would he feel if the things he did to others was done to his mother, children or family members. He only asked for leniency because he got caught. All the years of abuse he did to people he enjoyed. Their lives will never be normal again, so why should his. Hopefully he'll get back some of what he did to others while he's in prison 🤔.

    4. Being a good father and giving to charity is just a cover up lol! Anyone can do these things and still be a horrible person, sometimes you get caught! Like this POS! Women are safe for now anyways! He's such a slug!
