How Shakira Supported Cardi B During Offset DIVORCE
Cardi B is opening up about how she navigated her divorce from Offset. On the October 6th episode of J Shett’s OnPurpose podcast, the New York rapper shared some insight into how she came to the decision that it was time to end her relationship with the Migos rapper. My marriage like I felt the love dying from my end from from my end from his end. I was very lonely because I chose to be lonely. Choose to be lonely. I was saying like, you know what? I can’t go through this anymore. I have to put a stop to it. And while it was dying, I had a human growing in me. And I just had and I just kept thinking like it’s like, what’s life going to be without this person? What’s life going to be without raising my last child without this person? What’s life going to be with that person not being my friend anymore without nothing? When you have those type of thoughts, it will make you sad. It will get you depressed. It will have you lost, but I overcame that and I am the the strongest that like I have ever been. Cardi also revealed that she was working with Shakira at the time that she was facing this challenge and she leaned on the Latin music icon for words of wisdom. And it took months for the heart to say you’re done instead of my mouth and my brain. My heart had to be like you’re done. Cuz you could say it and you could take actions but even if you take actions if you’re not done you’re not done. Like I kept asking like around that time I was working with Shakira and I was like how the did you over overcame this? Like how did you overcame this? And it’s like it’s going to happen and it’s like it would never happen and it happened. It took some crying. It took some thoughts, scary thoughts. It But I’m here, honey. Yeah. I’m I’m here and I’m the strongest I’ve been and I’m just I love hearing that. The 32-year-old filed for divorce in July of 2024. Cardi B and Offset got married in 2017 and have three children together. Culture Kiari, Wave Set, and Blossom Bell. This is not the first time their romantic relationship has been on the outs. Cardi previously filed for divorce in 2020, but ultimately called it off. Currently, the Am I the Drama rapper is expecting her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, who plays for the New England Patriots. [Music]

When there’s no love then there’s no respect nor reason to giving your all. I am happy that she came to the realization that it was over and time to move on. Many of us waste so many years trying to save an unsavable relationship and while doing so, the one who is not trying , will take advantage. Life is too short to let anyone take advantage and control of your life. Value yourself and love yourself more than you are loving the person who can care less if you hurt.work on yourself and take as much time, years if it need be but don’t jump into a new relationship if you are not ready to be 💯 committed. Not fair for you or that new person to bring old baggage to a new relationship that should blossom instead of being put on hold because you still have not been able to move on or pass the heartbreak of your last relationship.
