According to a former royal courtier, The Firm is feeling “uneasy” over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent visits to England and France, respectively. “If they really plan to spend more time here, it changes everything,” the courtier said. “It puts them back in the frame, and that’s not what anyone expected.”

In 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry retired from their official royal duties and moved to California. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly vowed never to “set foot in the U.K. again.” However, Meghan returned for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022. The Spare author, meanwhile, has made many trips to his home country in the past few years.

Prince Harry recently returned to London to attend charitable events and reunite with King Charles III. According to royal expert Kristen Meinzer, the Duke of Sussex may want to visit England more often. “He wants Meghan [Markle] and the children to know and love his homeland,” she said.

Meghan Markle attended the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week to support the brand’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. “Over the years, the duchess has worn a number of designs by Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together, collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance and tonight was no different. This evening reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga.”
