Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s good work is going unrecognized by the Royal Family, which is a loss for the monarchy, according to one royal expert.

The Sussexes’ mantra is to show up and do good, which they were recently honored for by Project Healthy Minds, but according to Ian Pelham Turner, the Royal Family is “taking a blind eye.”

Pelham Turner, a TV presenter who focuses on the Royal Family, shared his thoughts on the Sussexes and their humanitarian work and how it’s being ignored by “Brand Windsor.”

Harry and Meghan have been voted Humanitarians of the Year by Project Healthy Minds, based on their mental health advocacy, particularly protecting young people from the dangers of social media and supporting parents who have lost a child to suicide.

Pelham Turner told Express US, “The strength to the Royal Family with this title is immense, but Brand Windsor can still turn a deaf ear to anyone currently outside the closeted Firm, which in my terms is another opportunity lost due to the egos of some members.”

And while the Royal Family may not appreciate Harry and Meghan’s accomplishments, they don’t speak for everyone, according to the royal expert.

Pelham Turner said, “Harry and Meghan have both shown great empathy over the years when working with people less fortunate, perhaps with mental health scenarios.

“Hopefully, they enjoyed their evening and realize that being left out in the cold by the Royal Family does not mean that they are not recognized across the world for their achievements.”
