Prince Harry, Meghan inspire new royal positions for Charlotte, Louis

Prince William’s grand plans for his reign, which also includes his own two children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are anticipated to give the monarchy an entirely different look.

As the Prince of Wales plans to take drastic measures for royal privileges and titles for non-working royals, there are some plans in the works for the siblings of 12-year-old Prince George, second-in-line to the British throne.

It seems that William’s estranged brother and spare, Prince Harry, along with Meghan Markle, have inspired a new royal position which could be made available to the Wales children.

According to royal traditions, the siblings for the monarch are obliged to become full-time working royals, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have broken it back in 2020, as they left the UK to settle in US for an independent life.

Since then, the Sussexes have taken a more celebrity-esque role, especially with Meghan, while working on building her businesses, using her past in Hollywood to create a celebrity profile. Harry and Meghan are often seen rubbing shoulder A-listers.

The As Ever founder has also used her influence to support friends and their businesses. According to King Charles’s former butler, Grant Harrold, Charlotte and Louis would be heralding a new era for the royals.

“There will be a high demand on the children, because their workload will be increased,” Harrold said, noting that the Royal Family “may not be carrying out quite the same responsibilities by the time they are old enough”.

He explained that royal engagements “might not be the same as old-fashioned visits with cutting ribbons and visiting important figures”. In fact, there may be “brand endorsements” or more support for organisations.

The former aide suggested that they could even be seen as “celebrities” or even taking on that “influencer role.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been proven to be protective parents, especially when it came to giving them a normal childhood experiences, even living under a regal shelter and royal titles.

A royal source previously revealed that none of their peers of teachers refer to the children with their ‘princely’ titles.

William and Kate are making sure that his children would have a choice this time to be working royals or lead lives as private citizens.
