Colleen Hoover pulls out of the Regretting You movie premiere due to unavoidable surgery. The It Ends With Us author announces that she will have to miss a series of events, including speaking engagements and the premiere of Regretting You due to surgery. The 45-year-old writes alongside an October 17th Instagram carousel that includes pictures of her posing alongside Lucas Gage and his book, I Wrote This for Attention. I will not be moderating the signing for Lucas Gage this month, nor will I be able to attend the premiere or any events for Regretting You. I’m super bummed, but I’m having an unavoidable surgery and can’t travel for a while. Colleen goes on to ask her followers to continue to support Lucas as well as the cast of Regretting You, including Allison Williams and McKenna Grace. She adds, “And please tag me in all your regretting you movie posts when it releases next week. I’ll live vicariously through you guys. So sad to miss this movie release and premiere, but so grateful to all the actors and the team who put this together.” The film out October 24th is based on Colleen’s 2019 novel about a motheraughter duo who are repairing their relationship following a family tragedy.
