Julia Fox is a modern muse.
Whether she’s donning low-rise leather, modeling lingerie or rocking an ab-baring, deconstructed suit — all of which she’s done in the last month alone — the actress brings her distinctive signature style everywhere she goes.
“It’s just clothes. I think a lot of people, especially in this industry, really take it seriously — [but] to me, it’s all fun,” Fox told Page Six Style before walking the red carpet at Monday’s Fashion Group International Night of Stars gala.
“It’s just dress-up, but as an adult,” she added.

Though she’s admittedly worn “so many” memorable looks over the years, Fox told us her “most favorite” right now is the “perfect” Marc Jacobs gown she wore to the amfAR Gala in London last week.
And while her closet’s full of avant-garde ensembles, she keeps things simple when it comes to her beauty routine, name-checking La Roche-Posay’s Lipikar AP+ Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream as one of the drugstore staples she”love[s].”

Make Up Forever
In addition to Make Up For Ever’s Artist Color Pencil in the shade Endless Cacao, Fox also buys MAC’s nude lipsticks in bulk.
“I have every single one,” she said. “It’s such a great go-to [and] looks good with everything.”

Isamaya
And no Fox look would be complete without a swipe of dramatic eye makeup, a DIY beauty look that’s long been her signature.
“I love my Isamaya eye palette,” the star told us. (The brand makes two core color options ideal for mixing and matching.)
After all, what’s more Fox than being able to say “I actually did it myself” when asked about your makeup?
