Rodial has subtly emerged as the beauty brand to watch in 2025, with alleged celebrity fans such as Kate Middleton and Lady Gaga, and sell-out hits like the Glass Powder and Banana Lowlighter. The products do come with a hefty price tag, which is why we practically dashed to the checkout when we spotted a chance to bag £244 worth of goodies for £97.

The 12 Days of Rodial Advent Calendar is brimming with luxury treats, and shoppers can snap them up for a mere £8 each. This includes some of the brand’s top sellers and a few treasures from the viral Dragon’s Blood range.

Shopping writer Lauren has indulged in a plethora of Rodial products over the past year, and she’s spotted some of her favourites in the calendar. Below, she highlights the standout items and explains why shoppers should be enticed to invest.

Inspired by Rodial’s viral Banana Lowlighter, this smart highlighter concealer boasts a peachy undertone that works wonderfully on slightly deeper skin tones. I typically reserve it for when I’ve applied fake tan; otherwise, I opt for the classic Banana shade, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Nevertheless, the Peach Lowlighter’s silky, lightweight formula blends seamlessly, illuminating my under-eyes and leaving my cheekbones and temples with a fresh, glowing finish.

I’ve been using the Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water for some time now, and it’s become my go-to first thing in the morning. It rejuvenates my skin for the day ahead, leaving it clean but never stripped.

Infused with rose water and micellar oil, this gentle yet effective formula feels both soothing and invigorating – akin to a mini spa treatment achieved with just a few swipes of a cotton pad.

For those who favour a traditional cleanser, I often alternate with The Outset’s Gentle Micellar Antioxidant Cleanser (£32). It’s another mild, hydrating option that leaves skin feeling balanced and refreshed.

Lip oils are currently enjoying their moment in the spotlight (we can thank the Y2K beauty revival for that). Rodial’s Cherry Lip Oil is a commendable addition to the trend, offering a subtle red tint and an ultra-smooth formula that feels wonderfully hydrating on my lips.

It provides me with an effortless, juicy pout that gives the illusion of more effort than I’ve actually put in. However, I would dispute the brand’s non-sticky claims – I’ve certainly encountered the classic hair-stuck-to-lip scenario more than once.

I’m a big fan of a bronzer – as someone naturally fair, I relish adding a touch of glow to my complexion. This Bronze Glowlighter is one of the best liquid bronzers I’ve tried, boasting a sun-kissed tint and radiant finish that blends seamlessly into my skin.

It contours and warms my face in seconds – requiring only a bit of light blending – and can be mixed into moisturiser for a full-face glow. For those who prefer a powder formula, Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Bronzer (£45) is an excellent alternative for achieving that soft-focus look.

A new makeup brush is always a delightful addition to any advent calendar, and I’m over the moon to see my current favourite included. The Mini Buffing Brush is perfect for effortlessly blending blusher and bronzer, providing a soft, airbrushed finish with little effort.

The densely packed bristles feel sumptuously soft on the skin, whilst its compact size makes it ideal for slipping into my handbag for touch-ups throughout the day.
