I had a manager that like really shut those or an old team, sorry, I must say. Um, that really kind of shut that down for me. Like I used to have a lot of confidence in my songwriting and I would just and and when I played my new music for or my music for my team at one point when I was like 15, they were like, “Yeah, that’s good. We need to get you in the room with other writers.” And I was like, “Wow, ouch.” So that shut down that like solo writing journey for me for the rest of my life. Surprised at 15 you’re at an age where you’re searching for a safe space to explore your identity and someone’s like that’s not your identity. Yeah, exactly. It was really hard but you know um good for you for carrying on though and keep now I appreciate songwriting with other people.
