Prince Andrew’s fall from grace is complete, as he has been stripped of his royal titles and forced to vacate Royal Lodge. In a bombshell announcement on Thursday night, Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles has begun the process of removing all formal titles from the 65-year-old, meaning he will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
The disgraced royal will relocate to a property on the £60 million Sandringham estate, while his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has not been provided with an alternative royal residence. Reports indicate that Fergie has no plans to move back in with her former husband.
Despite previous reports that the ex-couple wanted to live in separate royal residences, Fergie has been left to her own arrangements following her controversial link to Jeffrey Epstein, which embroiled her in scandal.
The former couple turned heads when they unexpectedly turned up to the Duchess of Kent’s funeral in September. Andrew was among senior royals playing their respects to Katherine, who passed away age 92.
Following the funeral service at Westminster Abbey, Andrew was seen smiling and laughing, while other members of the royal family maintained solemn expressions, the Mirror reports.
This reportedly infuriated the Prince of Wales, who is said to have been determined about “not be photographed” with his uncle. Royal biographer Andrew Lownie claims: “William, meanwhile, was ‘furious’ at being ambushed in this way, according to friends.”

“He has been at pains to distance himself from his uncle and not be photographed with him. He believes his father has not dealt with him with sufficient firmness and that Andrew – and Sarah Ferguson – have done much to undermine the good work of other members of the Royal Family.”
William has had a strained relationship with his father’s younger brother for many years. The divide is believed to have deepened after Andrew reportedly made ‘rude’ comments about Princess Kate, according to an explosive new biography.
The book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the Yorks explores the former couple’s “hedonistic lifestyle, controversial friendships, and secretive money-making ventures,” while also revealing fresh details about alleged tensions within the Royal Family.

A source speaking to author Andrew Lownie revealed that tension between William and Andrew had been simmering for years, it is said to have begun when Andrew’s actions began to damage the monarchy’s public image.
The insider claimed that Andrew had been disrespectful towards Kate, though the exact nature of his remarks about the Princess of Wales was not disclosed.
The book also claims that William has spent years trying to have Andrew and Sarah, leave the Royal Lodge – a 30-room mansion they located on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The anonymous source adds that William believes Andrew has neglected the property, causing it to fall into disrepair over the past year.
The source is quoted in the explosive book as saying: “He [William] also loathes Sarah, Andrew’s ex-wife, and can’t wait for the day when his father throws them both out. If Charles doesn’t, I guarantee you the first thing William does when he eventually becomes king is to get them evicted.”
