Prince George Joins Mom Kate Middleton for Official Royal Outing

Prince George is stepping out for an official royal outing. The 12-year-old son of Prince William in Kate Middleton accompanies his mom to the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance on November 8th, marking his first appearance at the annual ceremony. For the occasion, the Princess of Wales dons an understated black dress featuring long sleeves and a white lace collar, while George wears a dark suit and matching tie with white stripes. They each have a red poppy on their garments as a symbol of respect for members of the military who died while in combat. Also in attendance at the event, which marked the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, were King Charles III and Queen Camila. George has gradually become more involved in royal undertakings as he prepares for his eventual ascent to the throne. In the meantime, his dad, Britain’s current heir, is doing his best to make the monarchy something the pre-teen is eager to be a part of. As he told Eugene Levy during an episode of The Reluctant Traveler, “I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do. A world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better. [Music]
