Gerry Turner’s Golden Bachelor Ex Leslie Fhima Reacts to Tell-All Book | E! News
Gary Turner’s ex Leslie Fimma is speaking out. After the Golden Bachelor alum released his memoir, The Golden Years earlier this month, his season’s runner up, who Gary broke up with before proposing to Terresa N, is weighing in with her thoughts on the controversy. During a November 6th appearance on the Two Black Girls, One Rose podcast, Leslie admits, “I have not read it. I’ve read excerpts from it. I don’t know if I want to read it.” But the Golden Bachelor alum admits that Gary sent her excerpts of the book prior to its release. I had read um the chapter about me. Um you know, he actually sent me the chapter a long time ago. He probably added to he he just wanted to get my okay and I thought that was very respectful, very and I read it. I’m not sure. I mean like to be honest is he has nothing bad to say about me. Leslie goes on to reveal where she stands with Gary’s ex-wife, Teresa, who has been very vocal about the allegations in the book. For Leslie, she feels it’s best to take a more neutral stance. And I told Teresa this, I will support my friend. I adore her. I love her, but it’s not my fight. But I will support her and listen for her, and I will give her advice, but I I kind of want to be a little Switzerland. Yeah. Uh because it’s just not my fight. Back on November 4th, Teresa made an appearance on the Dear Shandandy podcast to explain her side of why the marriage dissolved, saying in reference to Gary, “You did me no favors by marrying a woman that you did not want to marry. You should have called off the wedding. No matter that we were on TV, that didn’t matter. This was our lives.” The former couple married in January 2024 in a live televised event called The Golden Wedding. but announced their divorce months later in April. [Music]
