King Charles III Celebrates 77th Birthday With New Royal Portrait | E! News
King Charles III is celebrating his 77th birthday. He is ringing in the occasion at his High Grove House in Glowacher. On Instagram, Buckingham Palace writes, “77 today. Thank you for the kind words and well wishes on his majesty’s birthday.” The king marks his birthday with a series of gun salutes across London. He’s also visiting Wales today to attend a reception for the 200th anniversary of Sciphara Castle and is being joined by Queen Camila. The two cut a cake that was in the shape of a castle. The king and queen chatted with many people inside, including fashion designer Julian McDonald. The Queen has previously attended one of Julian’s fashion shows. In aid of the Royal Osteoporosa Society as the charity’s president on his way out, King Charles shook hands with well-wishers.
