Music royalty meets actual royalty! Taylor Swift just got a special shout out from the official Instagram page of Britain’s royal family.
New footage from Queen Camilla’s 2025 Booker Prize reception was posted on social media on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and it was set to the tune of Swift’s latest single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” from her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

Queen Camilla Keeps It 100 with Taylor Swift ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ Reference
The Queen’s Instagram video on Wednesday featured footage from her 2025 Booker Prize reception, hosted in London at the royal residence Clarence House.
Swift’s song, “The Fate of Ophelia” was tagged as the audio for the post, leading fans to believe that Camilla—or, at least someone on the royal family’s social media team—might be a fan of the pop music superstar.
But Camilla, 78, and Swift, 35, weren’t the only “queens” in the post, as the video also featured an appearance from Sarah Jessica Parker, a member of this year’s Booker Prize judging panel, who got to mingle with the Queen at the prestigious reception event.

Fans on social media were overjoyed to see King Charles’ wife interact with the Sex and the City actress—and using Swift’s upbeat track was just the cherry on top.
“Give the marketing people more money for this song selection!!! 😂” one user implored in the Instagram comments, while another gushed, “OMG the song ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥.”
“Excuse me, Swifties in the Royal Comms Office 🙌💖” someone else celebrated.

“Just the fact @theroyalfamily has used a Taylor Swift song is everything here,” added another.
“SJP and the Royal Family wih The Showgirl music is the combo I didn’t know I needed ❤️,” one Swiftie chimed in, while someone else aptly rated the entire video as a “13/10.”
