Nandamuri Balakrishna and Harshaali Malhotra Attend Akhanda 2 Song Launch.

The Thaandavam song from Akhanda 2 was launched on Friday at an event in Mumbai, and clips from the event are circulating all over Instagram, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Harshaali Malhotra. Now, netizens are angered by Balakrishna’s behaviour towards Harshaali.

In one of the clips that is now going viral, Nandamuri Balakrishna is seen pulling Harshaali towards him, and this has left social media questioning his behaviour. One user said, “SOMEONE GET THAT CHILD AWAY FROM HIM.”

“The panic in her eyes!!” another commented. A third user wrote, “The way he touches her 🤢.”

“Yeah, who the hell is he and what is she doing with him?!” another comment read. One user wrote, “Where is her family? Or manager? Anyone!!! No one should be touching her that way, GOD.”

“Sometimes I wonder, does he see his own videos and consider changing himself?” another user wrote. A comment read, “Oh my God, she’s a literal child! This man is so disgusting. Why isn’t he getting cancelled? Her parents should know better bhyi.”

“We as Indians have zero respect for personal space!! In a safer society, she could have easily communicated that she’s not happy with all the manhandling… unfortunately not a possibility here. He’s her grandfather’s age and misogyny is at its peak here,” one comment reads.

Another user shared, “If it ever comes out that she was hurt by him, Nandu won’t have anywhere to hide from the outrage. No amount of brain-dead fans would be able to cover this one.”

    About Akhanda 2: Thaandavam

Directed and co-written by Boyapati Sreenu, Akhanda 2 promises to amplify everything that made the first film a cultural phenomenon: divine fury, stylised action, mythic undertones, and Balakrishna’s signature mass appeal.

In this sequel, Balakrishna reprises his role as an Aghora who channels divine power to combat evil forces threatening humanity. The film stars Samyuktha and Aadhi Pinisetty in pivotal roles, alongside a strong supporting cast.

The original Akhanda saw Balakrishna in dual roles, as Murali Krishna, a righteous farmer, and as Akhanda Rudra Sikandar Aghora, a divine warrior who emerges to fight injustice. The sequel, according to early reports, will expand this mythology further with a more intense spiritual narrative, elevated visual effects, and a grander scale.
