Glen Powell’s viral ‘Saturday Night Live’ moments – Leslie Bibb, Fall Out Boy react
Bring this thing full circle. Say cheese. Running man may have stumbled at the box office, but Glenn Powell’s first time hosting SNL on November 15th was a full sprint across the finish line. We’ve got all the moments everyone’s talking about. Starting with Glenn’s surprise guest, his UPS guy all the way from Texas. Long story short, the delivery driver just so happened to be there when Glenn originally found out he was hosting Saturday Night Live way back in 2020. But the offer was pulled because co delays with Top Gun Maverick, yada yada yada. Cut to 5 years later, Glenn tracked down the UPS worker Mitch flew him to New York City and brought him on stage to prove he wasn’t a big fat liar. But if I have learned anything, it is that the best things in life don’t happen overnight. And no one knows that better than UPS. In another viral moment, Glenn shared a homemade music video set to Fallout Boys Sugar Were Going Down back when he was a teen. And the band’s official account responded, “Want to direct the next FOB music video?” One fan tweeted, “God, Glenn Powell rules. I just keep finding reasons to love this dude.” However, the Hollywood Golden Boy couldn’t save all the problems associated with SNL season 51. Ego Wodm, who just left the show, was sorely missed in this satirical military sketch titled Bob Army. And if you see a man with a bob diva, you better run. One ex user tweeted, “This was so cringe knowing the makeup of the current cast.” Another wasn’t so delicate. Hire black women, youing morons. Out of 20 current cast members, there are zero women of color. Does Pete Hank says know about this? No, we don’t report to her. We only answer to Leslie Bib. That said, the sassy skit did get love on Instagram from White Lotus star Leslie Bib. Slay Division reporting for duty. This was the best way to wake up. SNL bobbed and ready to serve. PS. Bowen Yang shouting me out will be the best early birthday gift this cadet could ever ask for. to which Bowen replied, “Reporting for duty.” In the end, Glenn Powell did what Glenn Powell does best, charming the pants and the shirt off of Americans everywhere. I’m okay. A little cold. Here, take my jacket. But what did you think of the episode? Did Glenn’s performance boots the house down, mama yoss queen, or was it cringe? Let us know in the comments.
Glen Powell knows how to deliver. For his “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut on Nov. 15, the “Running Man” star brought out his favorite UPS driver named Mitch in a heartwarming monologue moment. Find out why the story behind the stunt right here, plus “Today” regular Leslie Bibb and Fall Out Boy both got subtle shoutouts that went viral. This comes following the Season 51 “SNL” shakeup that saw five cast members exit, including scene-stealer Ego Nwodim.
