Offset sparks uproar with deleted paternity claim, leaving Cardi B feeling ‘threatened’

Cardi B is speaking out after her aranged husband, Offset, sparked controversy with a comment about her newborn baby with Stfan Diggs. Earlier this week, Offset posted a message on his Instagram stories that appeared to reference Card’s newborn son, writing simply, “My kid, lol.” The post was quickly deleted, but screenshots quickly made the rounds online, sparking a heated reaction from fans and of course Cardi herself. Cardi responded on social media saying the attention and comments have gone beyond frustrating. She says they’ve become threatening. In a now deleted tweet, she wrote, “It’s been over a year and I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life is in danger. It’s all fun and games until it’s too late.” She also posted, “Mers do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload. Leave me the alone.” And during a spaces conversation with fans, Cardi added more context, explaining how the harassment has affected her day-to-day life. She said, “I’m really tired of getting harassed, and when I get harassed privately, and I ignore it, that’s when I start getting harassed publicly. I have every single receipt. If you want to keep sending blogs to harass me, I can’t take it anymore.” This situation comes just months after Cardi welcomed her fourth child with Diggs. She and Offset share three children together, Culture, Wave, and Blossom. And he is also a father to three other children from previous relationships. Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time last summer, ending nearly 7 years of marriage. Since their split, Cardi has publicly criticized Offset for being an absentee father and revealed that she covers the majority of the six figure annual expenses for their three kids. Meanwhile, Offset has continued to make pointed remarks about Card’s personal life on social media, including subtle jabs at her relationship with Diggs. Earlier this year, Diggs had his own paternity drama when it was confirmed he fathered a daughter with another woman, Instagram model Ailen Lera. While the original Instagram post has been deleted, the incident highlights just how quickly private family matters can become a public conversation, especially when social media is involved.
