After People Criticized Jake Bongiovi For Not Helping Millie Bobby Brown With Their Baby And Bags In Recent Paparazzi Footage, Millie Shared Some Pretty Eyebrow-Raising Instagram Photos

Last week, Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, ended up going viral after a paparazzi video of them with their baby daughter emerged online.

To quickly get you up to speed, 21-year-old Millie and Jake, 23, got married last year after around three years of dating. And back in August, the couple announced that they had welcomed their first child together via adoption.

Millie opened up about being a mom in a subsequent interview with British Vogue, where she said of her daughter: “She’s taught us so much already. Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.” Notably, Millie also said that she and Jake split parenting duties evenly, and that they’re “50-50 on everything.” She added: “That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life…He is just the most amazing dad.”

And this is why people were taken aback by a video that showed Millie navigating a swarm of paparazzi alone as she tried to enter a building while clutching their baby. After they got out of a car, Jake stood to one side and gestured for his wife and daughter to walk ahead of him as he lingered back. Millie was forced to warn one of the paps to stay away from her and her daughter as Jake trailed behind.

Elsewhere in the clip, Millie’s friend Noah Schnapp could be seen holding a large baby bag as he followed Millie and Jake into the building, while Jake remained empty-handed. Separate photos have also emerged showing Millie struggling to carry three large bags plus the baby in her car seat while Jake is wearing one backpack and pushing the empty base of the stroller.

Needless to say, the whole thing has raised eyebrows, with many questioning why Jake not only didn’t help, but remained so far behind Millie and their little girl in the video. One viral X post read: “Noah carried her bag, while her husband simply smiled at the paparazzi. It’s shameful that your friend does more for you than your husband.”

“Her husband walking behind her while she’s carrying their child instead of trying to shield them,” another echoed, while somebody else wrote on Reddit: “I assumed she was alone until he casually strolled on in behind her. WTF.”

Neither Millie nor Jake have publicly acknowledged any of the discourse, but the photos that Millie chose to include in a recent Instagram dump have reignited the conversation. Millie shared the carousel with her 64.9 million followers earlier this week, with the lead photo showing her at a screening of the final season of Stranger Things.

Other photos include a mirror selfie, a picture of a Stranger Things billboard, her and Noah in the back of a car, and a mirror selfie with Jake.

But it was the final two images that ended up feeding the discourse, with the second-to-last picture showing Millie looking slightly frazzled and tired while pushing a baby carriage:And the one immediately after showing Jake reclining in an adult-sized bouncer sans baby:

Sharing the two images to X, an incredibly popular tweet simply reads: “shes not helping the man with those allegations im crying.”

“she wants us to know she’s seeing the posts 😭😂” another user joked.

Sharing the pap photos of Millie struggling while Jake is mostly empty-handed, another added: “He is definitely not coming out of this. I’ve never seen him trying to help…”

And somebody else observed: “she really looks like a new mom and he’s just… there?”
