Kate Middleton Wears Sentimental Jewelry Statement During Rare Outing | E! News

Kate Middleton is wearing her most meaningful jewelry in her first speech since she announced her cancer diagnosis in 2024. On November 18th, the Princess of Wales attended the Future Workforce Summit hosted by the Royal Foundation Business Task Force for Early Childhood, saying, “So my passion and the work of the Center for Early Childhood stems from one essential truth that the love we feel in our earliest years fundamentally shapes who we become and how we thrive as adults. Love is the first and most essential bond, but is also the invisible thread woven with time, attention, and tenderness through consistent, nurturing relationships, which creates the grounded and meaningful environments around a child. Princess Kate sported a gray pants suit with a white ruffle blouse, wearing her Welsh gold wedding band, gemstone eternity band, her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring that originally belonged to Princess Diana, and an all diamond eternity band for the summit in London. She first wore this ring stack combination at the Lady Singles final at Wimbledon. Kate’s most recent eternity band is believed to have been a present from her husband, Prince William, last year, celebrating not only 13 years of marriage, but also a fresh start after completing chemotherapy for cancer. The princess announced in January 2025 that she is in remission and has been focusing on recovery. [Music]

Kate Middleton made her first speech since her 2024 cancer diagnosis while wearing rings that paid homage to her husband Prince William and her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.
