When they were living in Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace and then Anmer Hall, Prince William and Princess Kate reportedly had their eye on Royal Lodge, where Uncle Andrew was living. But he wasn’t budging, so they moved to Forest Lodge, which boasts Venetian windows, marble fireplaces and a barrel-vaulted hall ceiling.
Sources say Kate is loving playing interior designer — she’s been spotted shopping at high-end Marina Mill, which specializes in handmade fabrics. She also reportedly picked a 24-seat dining table, perfect for big family dinners (sans Andrew, of course).

When Andrew was getting the boot from Royal Lodge, there was talk he wanted to slide into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s old digs, Frogmore Cottage, which underwent a $4 million renovation before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved in. But Andrew must have been shot down, because he was exiled to Sandringham, which is roughly 125 miles away from Buckingham Palace. According to some reports, Andrew’s daughter Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, currently live at Frogmore Cottage.

It may need a new roof and tons of repairs, but apparently that hasn’t stopped Harry and Meghan from having designs on Royal Lodge, which is estimated to be worth $37 million.
“Maybe, just maybe, if prodigal son Prince Harry returns one day, could it be his new home?” poses royal author Phil Dampier. Part of the Crown Estate, Royal Lodge was the Windsor residence of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother from 1952 until her death in 2002. The property has 30 rooms, the Chapel Lodge and six cottages.

Poor Fergie. Former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson was living with Andrew when he got evicted by his big brother, King Charles III. Sarah reportedly wants to move into Adelaide Cottage, the four-bedroom home Kate, William and their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, used to inhabit. Wherever Sarah lands, she’ll likely bring along Queen Elizabeth II’s two remaining corgis, Muick and Sandy, whom Andrew and Sarah took in after Her Majesty’s death. The palace has confirmed the dogs will remain with the former couple.
