The list of famous faces named in the Epstein files has been revealed. From royals, prime ministers, rock stars, cultural icons and political firebrands, the list contains a number of high-profile names.

A cache of 23,000 Jeffrey Epstein-linked documents was recently handed to the US House Oversight Committee by the Epstein estate. The list named over 30 people, including Brits like Sir David Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Adele and Mick Jagger.

While the most frequently mentioned of all Brits is the former prince Andrew, whose name appears a staggering 173 times in total, a number of other royals were claimed to be included in the sprawling database too, reports the Mirror.

The list reads like a cross-section of British society: royals, prime ministers, rock stars, cultural icons and political firebrands who appear in the documents in a mosaic of contexts – from being subjects of media chatter to having attended the same events, or appearing in diary planning notes, correspondence or press discussions.

The committee members stress that being named in these documents does not indicate any wrongdoing and that names appear in different contexts, ranging from general social contact to specific business discussions.

A number of people have spoken out about links and denied any wrongdoing. Former Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied allegations against him. And model Campbell has also denied any knowledge of his criminal activities, noting she was introduced to him through mutual connections.

Jeffrey Epstein was a billionaire known for associating with celebrities, politicians, and academic stars. He was initially arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, in 2005 after he was accused of paying a 14-year-old girl for sex.

Dozens of other underage girls described similar sexual abuse, but prosecutors ultimately allowed the financier to plead guilty in 2008 to a charge involving a single victim. He served 13 months in a jail work-release program.
