Rod Stewart had some of his favorite fans in the crowd at a recent performance.
Over the weekend, Stewart’s son Alastair, 19, shared a sweet snap on Instagram with his younger brother Aiden, 14, and their rockstar dad, 80, as the trio smiled backstage together at one of Stewart’s shows.
Stewart sits between his youngest children, whom he shares with Penny Lancaster, putting one arm on Aiden’s leg and the other around Alastair’s shoulder. Alastair also included video from Stewart’s performance, which the teen seemingly recorded from the crowd.
Alastair simply captioned the rare snap with a red heart emoji. Lancaster sweetly commented on the post, “My boys xx.”

In addition to Alastair and Aiden, Stewart is dad to four daughters, Sarah, 61, Kimberly, 46, Ruby, 38, and Renee, 33, and sons Sean, 45, and Liam, 31.
Stewart welcomed his eldest child, Sarah, with ex-girlfriend Susannah Boffey. He shares daughter Kimberly and son Sean with his ex-wife Alana Stewart, and daughter Ruby with his ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg. While married to ex-wife Rachel Hunter, Stewart had two more children, Renee and Liam.
In September, Lancaster, 54, opened up about the pair’s early days as a couple to the British magazine Saga, and revealed that Stewart — who at the time was a father of six — initially did not want to have more children.
The actress and model said that she knew she wanted kids of her own, and would have left the “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” singer had he not come around.

“Yes [I would have left him]. And that would have been very hard. But we just went with the flow,” she told the outlet. “Now Rod always says, ‘I wish I’d said yes [to babies] earlier, because then we could have had more children.’”
The star added that as recently as five years ago, she and Stewart were discussing adopting, but “it ended up not happening.”
“We thought there might be too much of an age gap,” she explained.
