There’s nothing that screams “momager” quite like a pastel colored power suit.
And there’s no momager quite like Kris Jenner.
The mom (and manager) of six, Kris, shared a photo on Instagram in which she wears a bright purple power suit featuring a mini skirt and a matching blazer with shoulderpads. It is an archival piece from Thierry Mugler, pulled from the very era of power suit dressing: Fall/Winter 1998.
The suit had all the markings of an iconic ’80s style: knee-length pencil silhouette, nipped in waist, open neckline and curvy peplum shape. In an era known for its colorful and often clashing shades, Jenner’s choice of bright purple doubles down on the vibe of the post-disco era.

Whether she’s wearing spandex leggings or a couture gown, Kris is a commanding force on her own. But there’s something extra special about this unexpected vintage power suit moment.
She took a more contemporary approach with her accessories, including nude fishnet tights, nude pointed-toe shoes, diamond earrings and a sparkly diamond cross pendant around her neck.
Her hair, styled by Oskar Pera, was slicked back and cut in a chic bob with volume at the crown.

The Kardashian-Jenners love an archival moment. The whole family seems to be favoring vintage couture more than ever this year.
That said, the ladies have a particularly soft spot for Mugler’s creations.
This past summer, Kim pulled out a sheer bodysuit with built-in garters from the 1998 collection. Previously, she wore a corseted look from the same archival year to the Academy Museum Gala.
Kylie has also often opted for vintage Mugler ensembles, wearing looks from the design house’s archives to the 2024 Academy Museum Gala, 2022 CFDA Awards and more high-fashion events throughout the years.
