‘Song Sung Blue’ trailer stars Kate Hudson, Hugh Jackman

The trailer for “Song Sung Blue,” with Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman, shows the triumph and pain behind Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.

Hugh Jackman has plenty to be thankful for this holiday week.

The “Deadpool & Wolverine” star, 57, went Instagram official with Sutton Foster, 50, on Nov. 26, giving his partner a sweet shout out on social media.

In an Instagram post, Jackman shared a look at the actress and singer performing at Café Carlyle in New York City. The post included a photo of Foster beaming from ear to ear in front of a microphone, as well as a cute video of her waving at the person filming, presumably Jackman himself.

“Now that’s an iconic NYC night!” the “Greatest Showman” actor captioned the post. “And, truly magical.”

Jackman and Foster made their red carpet debut as a couple in October, stepping out at the AFI Fest premiere of Jackman’s latest film “Song Sung Blue.” The pair had reportedly been together for months prior to the date night, during which he wore a black tux and she wore a black slip dress.

Jackman and Foster starred together in the 2022 Broadway revival of “The Music Man.”

The “X-Men” actor was previously married to Deborra-Lee Furness, his former costar in the Australian TV series “Correlli,” from 1996 to 2023. They announced their separation in September 2023, saying in a statement to People magazine, “We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.” Jackman and Furness share two children.

“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority,” they added at the time. “We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”

Foster, meanwhile, has been married twice: to actor Christian Borle and most recently to screenwriter Ted Griffin. After 10 years of marriage, she filed for divorce from Griffin in 2024.
