Chadwick Boseman was more than an actor; he was an inspiration and a powerful voice for change. Known as the "good guy" to children across the world. He brought to life iconic figures like Jackie Robinson in “42,” James Brown in “Get On Up,” and King T’Challa in “Black Panther.” His performances celebrated strength, dignity, and pride. He highlighted the struggles and triumphs of historical Black figures, while also creating a powerful modern superhero that resonated globally.
When Chadwick was working on 21 Bridges, he really wanted Sienna Miller as his co-star. She had to decline at first because the pay wouldn’t cut it for her as a single mom. Chadwick gave up part of his own salary so she could be paid what she deserved. Off-screen he quietly battled colon cancer for years while continuing to give back. He visited young cancer patients and supported their families through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, showing the same courage and compassion he portrayed on screen. He was recently honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His star is located at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, the same area where Black Panther first premiered.
Happy heavenly birthday Chadwick 🕊️
