Donald Trump has invited King Charles to visit the White House next year, and while Prince Harry and Meghan are in the U.S., they may be left out in the cold, says one royal expert.

According to Andrew Eborn, members of the Royal Family are excited about a possible state visit to the U.S., but the Sussexes aren’t working royals, so they will not have seats pulled out for them.

When appearing on Sky News Australia, the broadcaster said: “The have been invited for the state visit in April and they are gearing up for this star spangled trip to celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S., but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to be left out in the cold, lots of people are saying, and basically it’s because they are no long working royals.” It comes after Meghan Markle’s ‘rude’ question to Kate Middleton that sparked furious royal feud.

He added, “The Declaration of Independence, well, they declare themselves independent from the working royals.”

Trump mentioned King Charles making a visit to the U.S. next year, but the official invite has yet to be extended, at least not publicly.
