Alix Earle gets emotional in new TikTok video ahead of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ finale
Hi. Just sitting down and watching videos from the past few months. And I’m also a little sleep deprived right now, so I’m probably losing my vibe. But just wanted to say thank you guys for all the support because I guess coming on to this show. Some people saying I shouldn’t do it and it was something I wanted to do for myself because I always watched the show and thought, you know, like that would be so crazy to get out there and do that someday. And it felt scary. felt like a little bit of a risk cuz I would be stopping everything else work-wise for a few months and I’d be moving out to LA. I would be apart from my friends, my boyfriend, and basically just changing my everyday life. But it was something I really wanted to do for myself and it just it’s made me feel so supported that you guys have like loved this journey just as much as me because I also think like a part of me, oh my god, I look crazy. part of me just always felt like I had to stick to either what you guys knew me as or I don’t know like running around all the time either going out or whatnot and like I think just being able to do something for me and have you guys support me when I wasn’t sure like how that was going to go has just meant so much and like I’ve just felt so loved now more than ever. um the guys the edits you guys make and comments or things you guys post watching the show like it just makes me so happy. It always feels like sometimes sometimes people don’t take me seriously. Um cuz I like I’m always out or posting like just funny things or not so serious stuff. And um I feel like the show has just given me like a reason to prove that I guess to myself and to you guys that like I do work hard and I don’t know I feel like it’s been able to show me in a new light which has been nice and yeah I guess like I’m so excited for this last show But I’m going to be so sad when it’s over. And I just can’t imagine if I didn’t do this cuz I feel like I just learned a lot about myself, a new drive and motivation in life. And I really want especially just with like our freestyle and our last dance that we get to do is like I just want you guys to feel empowered to go out and just do something new. This has been so rewarding and so cool to see like starting from day zero and not being able to do any of these things or feeling like oh my gosh like there’s no way I’m going to make it in this show and really trying to study dance and like go home and watch videos of ballroom dancers and go in every day and just push myself and have Val push me and it’s just given me, I guess, a new perspective on like maybe there’s something in life I want to try. And I’m going to have my whole family here for the show and my friends and like my family coming out to support me has been so exciting. And even like just having my little siblings out there, like I want them to feel like, oh my gosh, like I can grow up and do whatever I want and feel like they can go for whatever dream and it’s not too big. I know this is all coming to an end and these are just happy tears. Um, but I just wanted to say thank you guys. And I don’t know. I feel like I just feel I don’t even feel I know that this has changed me as a person and I’ll forever be grateful for that. And that’s my rant. Um, and yeah, thank you guys. Guys, I’m so excited for the show Tuesday. I made so many friends and I’m excited to see them all kill it out there on Tuesday, too. That’s my talk of the day. Love you guys.
