Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has today been stripped of two titles, over a month after Buckingham Palace announced that the King had taken formal action against his brother. In the formal statement it was revealed that the disgraced prince would have his membership of the Order of the Garter, an order of chivalry and that his Knight of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victoria Order be taken away.

These remaining titles have been stripped today, The Sun has revealed. The official comes after it was announced that Andrew’s princely title would be removed, as well as his other remaining royal titles. It was also agreed that the King’s brother would vacate his 30-room mansion, Royal Lodge.

He is in the process of giving up the lease to the property and moving to a more modest home on the Sandringham Estate.

But the Sun reported last week that Andrew is struggling to downsize, and though the move had originally been anticipated to take place in the New Year, it is more likely to now occur in February.
