Prince Harry and Prince William aren’t exactly on speaking terms due to the never-ending story that is their royal feud, and it’s gotten to the point where William actively avoids his brother when he visits the U.K. But it looks like these two might be forced into an awkward reunion due to their plans to attend the World Cup.
The Sun reports that Prince William and Prince Harry both want to cheer on Team England during the 2026 World Cup, which is partially taking place in the United States. Per a source, “Wills is planning to come to the US and we have been told to prepare for what a trip would entail. Interactions between security services and UK/US intelligence teams are in progress.”
This comes amid reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton will also be in the United States for July 4th (it’s the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence being signed), and that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to be “iced out.”
A source tell Page Six, “We’re hoping all the senior royals will come over. This is going to be a huge year for both the U.S. and the U.K. Obviously the Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren’t working royals, so they will not be invited to any celebrations. Any invitation would have to come at the behest of the royal family themselves.”
