Rebecca Gayheart was seen out with her beau, Peter Morton, in Los Angeles on Dec. 3
The rarely seen pair have been linked since 2023
Gayheart separated from her husband, Eric Dane, in 2018, but called off their divorce earlier this year amid his ALS diagnosis
Rebecca Gayheart stepped out for a rare date night with her boyfriend, Peter Morton.
On Wednesday, Dec. 3, the actress, 54, was photographed in Beverly Hills with Morton, 78, to whom she has been linked for several years.
In photos obtained by PEOPLE, they were seen leaving the Italian restaurant E-Baldi, with Gayheart’s arms intertwined with Morton’s; in another shot, she had her arms wrapped around him and her head on his shoulder as they hugged.
The pair also shared a kiss in one of the photos, with Gayheart wrapping her arm around the Hard Rock founder’s head as she leaned in.

Gayheart has been linked to Morton since 2023, when they stepped out for the first time together and held hands during an outing in L.A., per photos obtained by The Daily Mail.
They’ve since made several more official public appearances together, including at the Chanel pre-Oscars party in 2024.
Gayheart is still legally married to Eric Dane, from whom she separated in 2018. She dismissed her divorce filing earlier this year, after seven years. Days later, Dane, 53, revealed to PEOPLE that he was diagnosed with ALS.
The relationship between the former couple is no longer romantic, though, as she described them as the “best of friends” and “great coparents” in April.
“I think it’s important to not look at a relationship that ends as a failure,” she told E! News. “We were married for, I mean, we are still married, but together for 15 years, and we had two beautiful kids, so I think that’s a successful relationship, and that’s how we look at it.”
Last month, Gayheart confirmed that she and Dane have “been separated for eight years” and their daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13, “live with me 100% of the time.”
“I am definitely trying to show [my daughters] that we show up for people no matter what. And he is our family, he is your father. We show up and we try to do it with some dignity and some grace and just get through it, and that we will get through it the best we can,” she said on Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson & Olivia Allen. “I mean, it’s super complicated for me.”

“There’s been lots of just stuff, other stuff,” she said. “I try to stay optimistic, though, about it all. I’m trying to learn from it and role model, for them, how to go through something like this, which is really hard.”

Dane, for his part, has called Gayheart his “biggest champion” and “most stalwart supporter.”
“I call Rebecca. I talk to her every day,” the actor told Diane Sawyer in his first interview following his ALS diagnosis. “We have managed to become better friends and better parents.”
