The Comeback Makes a COMEBACK! See Lisa Kurdrow’s Valerie Cherish Back in Action
Wow. Okay, but can we talk about season 3 of HBO’s The Comeback? And I’m so excited about it. But could you just be more excited? Lisa Kudro’s faux reality show playing a belist actress trying to return to TV is returning in March. Hot Priest Andrew Scott joins the cast and will play her rival, a studio head. Lisa revealed shooting actually took place on the Friends sound stage, telling the crowd at the network presentation, “I had to guard myself every day on that stage, otherwise I would cry.” What would it be like if Valerie and Phoebe were all in the same room together? I’d explode. I don’t know. And talk about a wicked good deal for John Chu. The director of the $400 million grossing number one movie, will be pumping out more film and TV projects after inking a three-year producing partnership at Paramount. We’re still waiting to see that Crazy Rich Asians followup. They’re adapting Crazy Rich Asians into a TV series with John Chu returning. I read about that, too. But they’re sort of figuring it out. But I can say we’re getting we’re inching closer and closer. We’re almost there. [Music]
