Rachel Zoe is shedding some light on her contentious split from ex-husband Rodger Berman.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 57, addressed Berman’s new relationship during the Dec. 4 premiere episode of Season 15.
“Rodger has had the same girl for a year,” Zoe said during the episode. The fashion designer shares sons Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11, with Berman.
“The kids have known probably for 10 months,” she continued. She and Berman, a producer on several of her shows including “The Rachel Zoe Project” and “Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe,” wed in 1998. They separated in September 2024.
Responding to a producer who said that must mean Berman began dating his girlfriend, Bree Jacoby, directly following their separation, Zoe responded, “I’ll let you do the math.” Zoe went on to explain that their split – and Berman’s fresh relationship – have been difficult for their three children to navigate.
USA TODAY could not reach Berman and Jacoby for comment by the time of publication.
“I think that they wonder why he sometimes does or says things he says, why he acts the way he does, why there’s time spent with his girlfriend versus his kids,” she said. While she said she told cameras she was “trying” to see Berman “as a friend,” she revealed “we’re not there yet.”
Speaking on her decision to file for divorce, Zoe told People in a November interview that she was ready for the change and wanted to do what was right for her children.
“Listen, the timeline’s the timeline,” she said of any possible overlap between her marriage and Berman’s relationship with Jacoby. “Everything I answer is through a lens of what my children will see and hear. It is what it is. Whether or not they’re together now, I don’t really know. Life is wild, and I can say it takes a whole lot to really shock me.”
