And today we’re celebrating the storytelling that had us and the critics talking. We are so excited to reveal the 31st Critics’s Choice Award nominees. Let’s kick things off with the television categories. There’s so much badness in this world. Although, and only we know just how flawed. Boom. We’re completely helpless in you. We have no protection at all. I just don’t have it in me. Everyone’s issues stem from high school. Are we doomed? Yeah. You know what? Let’s get you some more caviar. Danny McBride, The Righteous Gemstones. Seth Rogan, The Studio, Alexander Scarsgard, Murderbot. These are the nominees for best actor in a comedy series. The nominees for best actress in a drama series are Kathy Bates Matlock, Carrie The Gilded Age, Britt Lauer, Severance, Bella Ramsey, The Last of Us, Carrie Russell, The Diplomat, Ray Seahhorn, Plurabus. These are the nominees for best actress in a drama series. Now, the nominees for best actor in a drama series. Sterling K. Brown, Paradise. Now, the nominees for best drama series are, Alien Earth, Andor, The Diplomat, Paradise, The Pit, Plurabus, Severance, Task. These are the nominees for best drama series. There are so many incredible nominees this year, but now it’s time to move on to the movie categories. Just look at me. Okay. What do you see? I see my hope of life. It’s in glorious technic. All right, we are starting with the nominees for best animated feature. Arco, Elio, In Your Dreams, K-pop Demon Hunters, Little Homaly or The Character of Rain, Zootopia 2. These are the nominees for best animated feature. You know, it was my favorite category. Now on to the filmmakers who shaped the year’s most cinematic moments. The nominees for best director are Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another, Ryan Cougler, Sinners, Germel Del Toro, Frankenstein. Josh Safy, Marty Supreme Yokim Trier, Sentimental Value. Khloe Xiao Hamnet. These are the nominees for best director. The nominees for best supporting actress are El Fanning, Sentimental Value. Ariana Grande, Wicked for Good, Eningga Ipsdaughter, Lea, Sentimental Value, Amy Madigan, Weapons, Wami Musaku, Sinners. Tiana Taylor. One battle after another. Sinners, Train Dreams, and Wicked for Good. These are the nominees for best picture. That was thrilling. I have chills. I am so excited that awards season is finally kicking off. I’m ready.
