Kate Beckinsale said WHAT?

In the writer room on Kimmel, we rarely actually discuss like what a guest has said or because guests say crazy things all the time or whatever. We still don’t understand what has happened, what Kate Beckansale is talking about. She’s saying this guy laid two eggs and that they are I guess looking like grocery store eggs. So did was this a story that her segment producer knew was happening? I don’t believe so because I don’t believe he knew she was going to show him a photograph either, which by the way I still have not seen. So she she just showed it on the phone. It wasn’t even, “Oh, this is it’s so wacky.” Yeah. I don’t think I have ever underestimated a celebrity more because when I was in high school, she was in things like Serendipity and Pearl Harbor and she cuz she’s got that kind of like very mainstream look and she was she started out on the dame path. She started out, you know, in Majo About Nothing, but she’s gone full cook. Well, Underworld kind of like took it to the Underworld was coming out around that time, too. But then when I saw her in that movie Love and Friendship, the Wit Stillman movie, that is one of the most wickedly funny Yes. movie performances I’ve seen in the past 15 years. She is unbelievable. She’s so smart in it. She does things that people don’t know she can do. So that’s all to establish that she has enough common sense that the Lord gave her. Yes. And she thinks her boyfriend laid an egg. Yes. Her her daughter’s boyfriend laid an egg. Her daughter’s boyfriend. Oh, it was her daughter’s boyfriend. That’s fine. You don’t know what’s going on up there. That’s not that’s that’s not a hole for her to manage. Yeah.

    Her daughter’s boyfriend laid eggs??

Crooked believes that we need a better conversation about politics, culture, and the world around us—one that doesn’t just focus on what’s broken, but what we can do to fix it. At a time when it’s increasingly easy to feel cynical or hopeless, former Obama staffers Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor have created a place where people can have sane conversations that inform, entertain, and inspire action. In 2017 they started Crooked with Pod Save America—a no-bullshit conversation about politics. Since then, we continue to add shows, voices, and opportunities for activism, because it’s up to all of us to do our part to build a better world. That’s it. End of mission.
