Wicked Box Office Gets WORSE! Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo PANIC as Movie Flatlines in December!

[Music] If you thought Wicked for Good was already underperforming at the box office, you haven’t seen anything yet. Get ready because this film is flatlining so hard in December, it may actually be headed for flop territory after a meteoric rise or is it Crash? Today, we’ll tell you why. It may be the last film for Cynthia Arivo and Ariana Grande as big stars. They got just a little bit too weird. Wicked came in 83%. I I know. I know. That’s That’s hard to even wrap your head around. I got it. 83% lower. [Music] Hello ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to the Pro Channel where we continue to give you what you need to know, reporting the facts as we see them in spite and despite of the drive by journalists who try to hide them. Folks, as we dive in today, click the like button. This is one of the biggest stories in entertainment, but you will find it nowhere else. Out of Deadline, I want to show you what they’re actually reporting. Universal’s Wicked for Good has crossed the $400 million mark globally, now with more than 407 million through Wednesday worldwide. Raw. Huzzah. Look at them. They’re posting the little celebrations down here. $400 million. The first one made 750. They need to get back to that. And it’s looking like it’s not going to. Nancy Tartagleon out of Deadline is praising it as well. Wicked for Good swoops past 400 million. Oh, they’re so excited. Tell us about it, Nancy. Universal’s Wicked for Good has crossed the $400 million mark globally now with more than 407 through Wednesday. Of that 278 is from domestic and 129 from the international box office. It’s the 15th movie of 2025 to reach the fourth century milestone in the 12th among Hollywood titles. Again, they’re so excited. They want you to know everything’s aokay. Bring us more Wicked. Give us more Cynthia. More Ariana. We need their brand of strangeness on the silver screen. Oh, wait. That’s about to stop. That’s because you all stopped going. Can I tell everybody just a little secret as I get to explain this flatlining that you can see here in the chart? And it it really is. I mean, this is this is embarrassing to Hollywood. This is embarrassing to Cynthia, to Ariana, to everybody at Universal. This is this is just not only financially humiliating, but really it’s a testament to the idea that, you know, you can only be so strange to such degrees before people will turn you off. And this is something a lot of social media commentators are going to have to figure out real soon as well. And that is you can only you can only dabble in the bizarre so far before people have had enough and they have to tune you out. There’s a certain proclivity that people have for strangeness. What is the opportunity cost, ladies and gentlemen of the jury? What is the opportunity cost of casting Cynthia and Ariana who were so strange in the first film and are so strange in the second film? Not the films themselves, but actually in the PR push to the point people couldn’t get over it. They keep, you know, and it has nothing to do with race. It has nothing to do with any of that kind of stuff. It has to do with their demeanor and the way they they present themselves, the crazy long nails, playing Jesus at the Hollywood Bowl, you know, as a woman. And it’s just everything they have done would be the exact opposite of what you would believe to be the way to promote a film. But people gawkked at it. We looked at it. How much of that now can we say is the same thing that people do when they drive by a wreck on the interstate and you slow down to see what it is that has held you in the grasp of its delay for the last hour or so and you slow down to take note of it before you speed away. You know, the first wicked was pent up dramatic demand. one of the it might be the biggest anticipation for a Broadway musical to go to a live or to go to a big screen adaptation ever. Probably is. I mean, I have more than a decade watched women wait for Wicked to come out. So excited for it to be made into a movie. They didn’t cast the right people. And they tried to hide that, right? It should have made a billion dollars, but they tried to hide it. Cynthia and Ariana and they’re great in the movie. I’ll agree. still poorly cast, but they they Hollywood and the machine tried to tell you, “No, no, no. They’re very popular. They’re popular. They’re very popular. You can’t deny it. $750 million is undeniably popular.” Well, now that’s not the case. Can I get to the headline for you, folks? Let me show you this. You ready? If we go, let me scroll down here where I can get it. If we go back to November, let’s see. This is going to be December right here. If we go to the last day of November, Wicked was at $269 million domestically. Through Friday, it is at $284 million throughout the entire month of December. Thus far, this film has made $15 million. Wicked at this point should be making $15 million per day. We’re including a Friday. This movie has flatlined unlike what you will almost ever see out of any film that that springs into existence like this one did. We are now we’re not even fully into, you know, we’re not even close to Christmas. We’re not even close to Avatar. It’s dead. It’s dead. Jim, let’s go to Reddit. And again, I have to go to Reddit. If you watched the video the other day where we talked about just what a terrible situation Wicked is in, uh, we had to go to Reddit. Why do we have to go to Reddit? I never go to Reddit cuz the mainstream is refusing to report this. And I mean really refusing to report this. This film, if it doesn’t cross $500 million, is the laughing stock of Hollywood. And it will be undeniable to the executives. You don’t cast Cynthia and Ariana as leads ever again because these two ladies should have had $2 billion movies. What is the opportunity cost and loss of not casting someone like an Adena Menzel? Not because Cynthia or Ariana are terrible in the movie. They’re not. But because they have they have turned into, you know, a sideshow themselves just walking the green carpets together. Bizarre. On Thursday, Wicked for Good grossed $2.146 million, says box office stats on Reddit. Down 13% from Wednesday and 83% from last week. Now, this is a little bit old, but you got to see it cuz it’s been updated. And I want you to see what we’re looking at here. We’re going to go to the week two. You need to see how far it’s dropping. Friday, which is not tabulated in this, would actually be worse. Okay, in week two, cuz now week three has started. In week two, last Friday, Wicked for Good underperformed the original Wicked by 17.7%. Saturday, it underperformed Wicked for uh the original by 25.7%. It underperformed the original Wicked on Sunday by 31%. Monday 51%, Tuesday, 47%, Wednesday 51%, and Thursday 55.1%. You want to get worse compared to last week, Friday, yesterday at the time of this recording and you’re viewing probably Wicked came in 83%. I I know I know that’s that’s hard to even wrap your head around. I got it. 83% lower. 83% lower than the prior Friday. Came in 83% lower than the Thursday. It came in 86% lower than the Wednesday. It came in 77% lower than the Tuesday. It came in 82% lower than the Monday. Now, why am I bringing this up? Cuz some of you out there going to say, “Well, you know, that was Thanksgiving. You can’t really count that.” Surely. Oh, yes you can, my friends, because you can take off two of those days and say, “Well, Black Friday shouldn’t count.” Or you can say, “Thanksgiving really shouldn’t count.” But an entire week of this, this film is toast. And we can go over a host of reasons, and we told you this the entire way. What is Universal doing releasing this right up against Zootopia? But if you’d said, “Hey, Wicked is going to be wiped out by FNAF, Five Nights at Freddy’s, folks, come on.” And Five Nights at Freddy’s, you know, is not doing as well as it did the last time. I know many of you out there defending it, and I I appreciate that. And I’m not trying to be negative about Five Nights at Freddy’s. That’s not what this video is about at all. But economically, it’s not as powerful, as potent for whatever reason. I know there are reasons, good reasons. But Wicked, Wicked is woefully underperforming in Hollywood. Go Google this, folks. Go Google it. Look it up for yourself on this Saturday. What else are you going to do? It’s cold and rainy and snowy outside in most parts of the country. Our friends in Arizona right now say, “What are you talking about, bro? It’s beautiful.” Um, go Google it. See if you can find anybody else talking about this. Cynthia and Ariana have done such damage to themselves with their PR play. And we were told that this was something people wanted. It was popular. They’re setting a new trailblazing path for celebrities. Give me a break. They broke this movie. The pent-up demand made $750 million happen at the box office for the first one. And their weirdness and the timing of this film and the the lackluster depressing state of what the movie tries to state as its modus operandi, the second piece of depression may struggle to make $500 million. 250 lower may struggle to hit that. And it’s because it turns out you can only be so weird, so wicked for so long. All right, folks. Click the like button, share, subscribe, click it, stick it to the algorithms. 1. I'm mostly offended by Ariana Grande performing in "white face." As a Hispanic of her ACTUAL skin tone I can guarantee you that we don't get whiter as we get older. Where are all the race hustler calling out that race appropriation?

  2. Do not get your news from this channel it's all clickbait hype reporting stuff in a way that suits their agenda, no better than any other news outlet despite their claims to the contrary.

  3. It has brought in, as of today, 440 million. Since it cost 150 million to make, it's already considered a major financial success, although, as with NEARLY EVERY AMERICAN FILM RELEASED, it has not brought in the amount the studio HOPED it would bring in by now. Nonetheless, it is on track to bring in the estimated 800 million before they pull it out of the theatres. And the vast majority of people LOVE it.

  4. I did watch it and I enjoyed it, but what frustrates me is the fact that other 'Wicked' fans seem to want to wipe out L Frank Baum as the creator of the OZ books. They need to respect the original creator of OZ, stop saying that 'Oh but Wicked is based on the Wicked book,' which I know but its based on the 1939 version of the Wizard of Oz which was based on one of L Frank Baum's book. It makes me want to hate it.

  5. Great! All the freak theater kids who wanted to see the pair of cringe ozempic witches saw it right away and it has no appeal to anyone else. Especially with the insane cringe from those 2 weirdos. "Not now helicopter" 😂😂

  6. THIS GUY IS AN OBSESSIVE HATER . THE FILMS WILL TOP 1.3 BILLION BETWEEN THEM AT A COST OF 325 MILLION ……. HEALTHY !! As for the stars , AG will become a two time Oscar nominee with many offers on the table . THIS IS A HATE CHANNEL . FULL STOP.

  7. Holy crap, when the stage show is still ongoing not just in major cities like New York, but touring as well, and infinitely shorter, more charming and enjoyable, why would anyone want to watch this dour second half of the movie?

  8. Lost all respect for Ariana Grande when she licked a donut in a donut shop and preceded to place it back on the shelf for some other customer to pick up. You don’t get any respect after that, EVER. Because it tells the world, I’m better than these peasants, nothing will ever happen to me because I am who I am. Elitist mentality on display like a 6 year old.

  9. From Google AI:
Wicked: For Good (the second Wicked movie) did phenomenally well at the box office, setting records as the biggest musical adaptation opening ever, earning around $147M domestic and $223M globally in its first weekend…

    No wonder nobody Googles anymore.

  10. I think the one that looks like black Nosferatu is much scarier. Between the bald head, the crazy terrible piercings and just general creepiness of her, she could be a movie monster with little makeup edition.

  11. I recall hearing about this play for the first time from my best friend and close friends girlfriend who was still in high school while we sophomores in college. They didn't have us read this but she graduated in 05 and we graduated in 03 so it hadn't reached its peak yet.
