in Chinese this thing called you know dulian which literally means throw face and it’s like ba dulen which means don’t throw face which is don’t shame us so all of the things that happen within your own home stay in your own home like keep it inside don’t don’t air the dirty laundry yeah don’t show the dirty things don’t show the holes don’t show the rips and so the presentation of I think what we all do you know just continues that cycle and And so when something comes up, it’s so shocking, you know, when when there’s something that’s happening next door. And there’s also a lot of judgment, societal judgment, which does not help other people to feel like they can open up. And now with technology and social media, you know, obviously we want to show our best sides. And so it’s very difficult for younger people and that the suicide rate and the it doesn’t even have to be a diagnosis. It just can be a feeling of not belonging and not sensing that you can talk about your feelings without having you know being sequestered or isolated. And that is exactly what happened to Irene in the story. I
