When it comes to maximizing your brand, there aren’t many people better than former LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne.

Over the past few years, Dunne has truly blossomed into a social media sensation. She has over 7.9 million followers on TikTok and 5.3 million followers on Instagram. Her popularity and personality has earned her endorsement deals with Vuori and countless other brands. Heck, she even landed a sponsorship with a deodorant brand after sweating out Paul Skenes’ final start of the 2025 season.

“So turns out your girl has stress sweat and she found out the hard way. I know it’s crazy – girls sweat too,” Dunne said. “I didn’t have Secret then, but thank goodness I’m partnering with them now. Secret clinical fights stress, gym and the ‘oh no, I just went viral’ sweat. So now I can get excited without worrying about the replay. Secret clinical works. I’m obsessed and would 10 out of 10 recommend to my past self.”

Earlier this week, Maxim’s John Ortved unveiled his exclusive interview with Dunne. They discussed her rise to stardom as well as what’s next for her career.

Orvted said Dunne “does not readily accept” the term influencer. In fact, she wants to be refereed to as a former athlete and model.

Livvy Dunne has already made it big as a model.

In 2023, Dunne made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut. Two years later, she was named one of four cover models for the iconic magazine.

“Olivia Dunne’s why goes far beyond the floor and bars—it’s about changing the game for athletes everywhere. She was one of the first to leverage the power of name, image and likeness deals, building a brand that’s both financially successful and rooted in showing the real Livvy,” SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day said. “She’s not just a social media sensation; she’s a pioneering force who has created opportunities for herself and, by extension, countless other athletes by demonstrating how to navigate the intersection of sports, business and digital influence.”

Dunne, who was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2024, could very well return to SI Swimsuit in 2026.

With that said, Dunne has clearly established herself as a legitimate model.
