I tried the facelift-inspired Lyma Laser treatment stars like Martha Stewart love

Hi, I’m Hannah from Page Six Style and today we are at Joanna Czech Studio in New York where one of the hottest treatments in Hollywood just became available. It incorporates not one but two of Lima’s four figure lasers for a non-surgical facelift, making it truly a treat for the A-list. And today we have a peak behind the scenes. While the facial initially wasn’t offered to the public, Lima founder Lucy Goff told us a chance A-list encounter changed everything. When an actress asked to come in for a treatment, then raved to a bunch of other stars about her experience, the brand realized they’d stumbled across something special. And given everyone from Martha Stewart to Eva Longoria to Shakira to Kate Blanchett has tried it out in the time since, it’s only gaining more momentum. To bring the treatment to New York, the team from Lima’s esteemed London HQ trained all the big apple estheticians to copy the exact movements from the famous facial. My facialist started off by cleansing and removing my makeup before beginning a mixture of very, very deep tissue massage and manipulation using acupressure techniques to help reduce puffiness and sculpt. While there was some pinching, kneading, and even light slapping involved, the ultimate effect was tension relieving. The treatment was engineered in conjunction with a London plastic surgeon to manipulate the same muscles that are actually targeted in a facelift. Mine is going under the knife, of course. Finally, we get to the literal shining star of the show, the Lima Laser Pro. Given each contains three 500 megawatt near infrared lasers, and this treatment incorporates two of those, my skin was being targeted by six powerful lasers at once. Goff told me the technology helps target collagen production and is fundamentally different from every other cosmetic treatment on the market. As in her words, quote, “The light is able to be absorbed by the cell.” No wonder Martha Stewart has snapped selfies holding two up to her face at once. I loved my facialists laserlike attention to detail. And afterwards, my skin felt so glowy and fresh. So much so, I even went makeup free to a fashion event that night and felt completely confident.

To stay camera-ready, stars need to be laser-focused on their skincare routines.

And when it comes to red carpet prep, the Lyma Laser Pro is having a major moment right now. Everyone from Sofia Richie to Gwyneth Paltrow to Sabrina Carpenter has been linked to Lyma’s buzzy beauty tools, which promise to painlessly improve the look of wrinkles, pigmentation, scars and sagging skin through the power of clinical-grade cold laser technology.

So when the London-based brand’s exclusive Lyma Lift facial — a 90-minute experience that incorporates two of the $5,995 Lyma Laser Pro devices — became available in New York for the first time, Page Six Style was among the first in line to shed some light on the treatment.

I was lucky enough to book an appointment at the star-adored Joanna Czech Studio last month to see if the “non-surgical facelift,” as the brand calls it, is actually worth the hype.
