See Rob Reiner’s final TV interviews before his tragic murder

My name is Marty Deberie. I’m a filmmaker. Reiner is both director of the actual film. You’re the director directing yourself. I know. It’s crazy. It’s crazy. It’s making me nuts. That was famed Hollywood director Rob Reiner on 60 Minutes just 2 months before he and his wife were brutally murdered. He was 78, she was 68. The couple’s 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, has been arrested on murder charges. Page 6 can confirm. On Sunday afternoon, December 14th, Rob and his wife of 36 years, Michelle Singer Reiner, were found slain in their Brentwood home. Their throats were slit. TMZ first reported their daughter, Romy, who discovered the gruesome scene, told cops that a dangerous relative should be a suspect, suggesting the killing came during a heated argument. Sources told the Post that stab wounds to their throats were among multiple wounds throughout their bodies. The Riner’s deaths are a huge shock to Hollywood. He first shot to fame as Archie Bunker’s liberal son-in-law, Meathead, in the 1970s sitcom Smash, All in the Family. Rob went on to direct over 20 feature films, including A Few Good Men and the comedy classics When Harry Met Sally and The Princess Bride. The sequel to his first film, This is Spinal Tap, dubbed Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues, came out in September of this year. Hi, I’m Marty Deergie. 40 years ago, I was honored to direct a film called This is Spinal Tap. The numbers all go to 11. One louder. Why don’t you just make 10 louder and make 10 be the top number and make that a little louder? These go to 11. In his final interview with Piers Morgan, Reiner was asked about Charlie Kirk’s murder and shared these wise words. What was your immediate gut reaction to it? Well, horror. A absolute horror. Uh, and I unfortunately saw the video of it and it’s uh it’s indis what happened to him. And uh that should never happen to anybody. I don’t care what your political beliefs are. That’s not acceptable. That’s not a solution uh to uh to solving problems.
