LAPD confirms Rob Reiner’s son Nick Reiner is in custody as a suspect in parents’ murder
The information at this stage is still limited, but I’ll share what we can. First of all, our hearts go out to the family and friends of the Riners uh tragic incident. Uh yesterday at uh 12 uh December 14th about 3:40 in the afternoon, LAPD responded to a residence uh the residents of uh Rob and Michelle Reiner located in West Los Angeles division. At that location, they found two deceased adults, a male and a female, uh through the night, working with the coroner’s office. They were able to identify them uh definitively as Rob and Michelle Reiner. Uh we have our robbery homicide division handling the investigation. They worked throughout the night on this case and were able to take into custody uh Nick Rick Reiner, a suspect uh in this case. He was subsequently booked for murder and is being held on $4 million bail. Pretty much that’s what I can share at this point. Um, but again, a very, very tragic incident. Can you talk about I know Deputy Hamilton talked about uh the search warrant, how important that was because of something inside. Can you talk about where that investigation as you know on uh on all of these cases? I wouldn’t uh be in a position to talk specifically about what the object of the searcher warrant was, but it’s a critical uh piece of of our investigations to be able to ensure down the road of prosecution. Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner’s son Nick has been arrested on charges of murder in his parents’ stabbing deaths, Page Six can confirm. The 32-year-old is being held at Parker Center Jail in Downtown Los Angeles, with his bail set at $4 million, a rep for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office tells Page Six.
