ENTREVISTA a Mila Kunis, Cailee Spaeny y Kerry Washington | KNIVES OUT | Por Malditos Nerds @Infobae

I I like to blame everyone in the beginning. Like I just >> Everybody's guilty [laughter] guilty until proven innocent. You know what I mean? Like I go the other way around. >> Hi guys. How are you? >> Good. How are you? >> I'm great. I'm doing great. Uh so first of all, I love the movie Congratulations. And um Yes. Yes. I loved it. and it was kind of like the ones that you're like on the edge of your seat. So that's very well done. Uh so I really wanted to to know about you know your reaction while reading the script for the first time because you know it has so many twist and chairs and I know he had drawings at some point. >> Oh yes. >> I don't know if that's true. >> Oh okay. [music] >> Yes. You talk [laughter] about the getting the script and what a cool experience that was. >> First it was a call like hey Ryan is doing a third knives out. Do you want to meet? And I was like hell yeah. So, I go to have breakfast with Ryan and I said, "I'm in." He goes, "You should probably read the script." Also, like, "You don't have the offer." But I was like, "No, but it's fine. I'm in. Whatever the part is." Um, and I was like, "Who did it? Who's the murderer? What's the story?" And he's like, "Read the script." And so, I was like, "Okay, great." And I thought the script was just going to be emailed to you like every other script, but it's not. [music] You have to go to the office. You have to sign for a iPad. The iPad has a password that is only assigned to you. You go home. You open it up with this password, but it's not done yet. Then you have to open up an app that has an independent other password. And in this app opens up the script, but the app is so complicated to use because if you pause it, it just goes right back to the beginning and you're like, "Oh my god." And so you're constantly playing it. >> Yes. It's like Mission Impossible. Like it's going to explode at some point and you're like, "What is going to happen?" >> And then I read it and it did have little drawings of certain parts. >> Yes. >> Um the crime details of the crime. It didn't help me understand it. I clearly don't understand half I was like I don't understand how this crime happened. I have to read it again and I had to read it twice which took an extraordinarily long p time because of the iPad. >> Yeah. >> So this is all true and I loved it. And so then I zoomed with Ryan. I said, "Yeah, great. I'm in." So that was it. That's >> okay. That's great. It was the same very similar with you guys. How about you, Katie and Carrie? >> Yeah. Very like high tech. It was very inspiring to, you know, get this project that has so much secrecy around it because you understand how seriously [music] Ryan takes the twists and turns and how much the producers all want to protect the mystery. So, it's fun to jump into something where everybody is so passionate about making something that audiences will love and that will continue to surprise and delight audiences. >> Right. Well, and I know that here in these movies, you kind of need to have like a really strong chemistry and [music] I know that maybe you don't really get into the trailers and Ryan has like a green room or something like that. I mean, do you enjoy or do you hang hang there? I mean, what was it? Do you like had a heartto-he heart or something with the rest of the cast? >> What if we sat there like, "Okay, it's time to do therapy." You start. >> Um, no. Yes. Yes. And no. We had a room. [music] >> Yes. And it was a um a shipping container or in a different stage it was a tent and everybody hung out there. >> It was never discussed though. It was never like part of >> the culture of set >> and we had trailers but the only time we ever went to our trailers was to change into our costumes because otherwise we were like hanging out and playing games and playing you know hanging out with each other's dogs and children and reading and helping each other write best man speeches and we were really just bonded. I keep saying to people like I know that Knives Out is a franchise, but it actually feels so much more like a family. >> Yeah, I know. Who was the best man? I'm curious. >> Josh Oconor. >> Josh O' Conor. [laughter] >> Okay. >> Okay. Hope he did a good job there. >> Well, how could he not with us by his side? >> We had a lot of notes for his best man speech. It was I you know, >> but we got him there, I think. So, yeah, we we gave him some punchups, some jokes. We took some things out. >> Okay. >> Oh, yeah. Did Glen did Lena was also pitching there? Oh, of course. Oh my god. You can't have the legend in the room and not call on her talent and expertise. Daniel contributed everybody. >> Okay. Okay. So, you know, why do you think that we love murder mystery movies so much? I mean, we start watching them, we can't stop. It's just a Christie. I mean, we love them. Why do you think that is, >> Kaylee? Yeah, I think it's it's it's an interactive experience. It's like it asks the audience to um join in and to >> to you know it it's just >> it's also it's such a family exper. I'm so excited for this to come out during the holidays because it just slots right into the family coming around and everyone joining in [music] together on the fun. >> Yeah. Like everybody playing Clue, you know what I mean? We love a good mystery. We love kind of being in the chaos of the unknown, but then also landing that plane like feeling like, okay, now we know and we went through that journey together. Cool. That's great. And finally, to wrap up, are you good at solving mysteries before they, you know, Okay, I knew who the guy or the girl or whoever it was. I mean, it was so obvious. Are you that kind of detective or not so much? Like, oh, had no idea. >> I I like to blame everyone in the beginning. Like, I just >> Everybody's guilty [laughter] guilty until proven innocent. You know what I mean? Like, I go the other way around. So, I'd say I nail it 100% [laughter] of the time >> cuz you always know who it is cuz you think it's everybody. >> Yes. Exactly. Yeah. >> Yes. I Well, I agree. And in your case, what your three characters, I mean, every all the characters are so different and so special and they all have like reasons to do it, so they could easily be the guilty person. Totally. So, I really love that's very very well done. Finally, to wrap up, h where do you do you think the next Knife Out movie should take place place if we could choose like a location like playing around? M [clears throat] >> I mean my pitch yesterday cuz I keep pitching myself in all of them. I mean and Kayie and Carrie like >> we all want to come back. >> Um my pitch yesterday was in an elevator. >> That was my pitch yesterday. We were yesterday in an elevator. Yep. [laughter] >> And I was like there we go. Now someone dies. Who did it? But we're all stuck in an elevator together. >> That's good. >> I was talking to Ed Norton about the idea that like we should because we all have loved being a part of these movies. Netflix needs to do like a Knives Out variety show, like a holiday special where we all come back. Yes, >> that's I love that. I'm I'm I'm up for all of those. >> Okay, good. >> So, thank you. [laughter] >> Like did a show for your >> Thank you so much for your time. Really enjoy the movie and you guys are so great in it. So, congratulations. >> Thank you so much. Bye. >> [music]
