New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart is turning heads on and off the field.
Dart had a nice showing in Week 15 against the Washington Commanders, throwing for 246 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The Ole Miss product also had 63 rushing yards on nine carries. Unfortunately, he was once again examined for a concussion. It’s the fifth time this year that he took a trip to the medical tent because of a head injury.
Since the Giants don’t have much to play for at this point in the season, there are people legitimately asking for Dart to sit out until 2026.
“I think they need to sit Jaxson Dart in light of what we’ve seen,” Giants legend David Tyree said, via the New York Post. “The positives, we’ve seen enough positives. We know that we actually have something special brewing. The risks are too great at this point, in light of what the Giants are paying for it. You’re paying these backup quarterbacks, put them out there and give them a chance to continue their careers in the National Football League. I think to those types of front office decisions where is this just about us trying to get a win? So [interim coach Mike] Kafka is in there, you got [GM Joe] Schoen in there, you got hard decisions to make. So sit Jaxson Dart’s behind down, so he can be the future of the franchise.”

Dart’s love life is in the spotlight.
Last week, Dart was linked to ring girl Marissa Ayers. She’s a popular content creator with over 400,000 Instagram followers.
Earlier this month, Ayers was spotted at Gillette Stadium when the Giants faced the New England Patriots on “Monday Night Football.” Clearly, that wasn’t a coincidence.
In case fans needed more confirmation that Ayers is seeing Dart, she posted a video of her sporting a Giants shirt on TikTok. Fans are convinced she filmed the video from rookie quarterback’s apartment.
As of right now though, Dart hasn’t said anything about Ayers.
Dart previously dated Lola Sexton. There were rumors on social media claiming they had an ugly breakup.
“I really didn’t want to have to do this, but some stuff has been brought to my attention, and I just feel like I have to clear the air and share my side of the story,” Sexton said. “So yes, he was cheating on me for a little over a year and a half, from what I know. I found out from an anonymous text message, whoever you are, thank you. Thank you so much.”
We’ll see if Ayers and Dart have what it takes to become the NFL’s next power couple.
