Meg Ryan has broken her silence on Rob and Michele Reiner’s tragic deaths.

“Oh how we will miss this man,” the “When Harry Met Sally” star, 64, wrote on Instagram Wednesday alongside a touching photo of her and Reiner dancing together.

“Thank you, Rob and Michele, for the way you believe in true love, in fairy tales, and in laughter,” she continued. “Thank you for your faith in the best in people, and for your profound love of our country.”

Ryan, who portrayed the titular Sally Albright opposite Billy Crystal’s Harry Burns in Reiner’s 1989 rom-com classic, went on to touch upon the “impossible tragedy” of the filmmaker and his wife’s deaths.

“I have to believe that their story will not end with this impossible tragedy, that some good may come, some awareness raised,” she wrote.

“I don’t know, but my guess is that they would want that to be hopeful and humane, to be something that brings us all to a greater understanding of one another and to some peace,” Ryan concluded.

Reiner and his wife were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood, Calif., home on Dec. 14.

The couple was found with their throats slit open, sources told The Post.

Their 32-year-old son, Nick, was arrested on charges of murder in his parents’ grisly deaths and has since been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Crystal paid tribute to the Reiners in a lengthy joint statement with other famous friends – including Albert Brooks and Larry David – on Tuesday.

The “Princess Bride” star remembered the late director as a “great comic actor” and “master storyteller” who “charmed audiences.”

“His comedic touch was beyond compare, his love of getting the music of the dialogue just right, and his sharpening of the edge of a drama was simply elegant,” the joint statement read. “For the actors, he loved them. For the writers, he made them better.”

Crystal and his fellow Hollywood elites went on to praise the beloved filmmaker and his wife of 36 years as a “special force.”

“Strong and determined, Michele and Rob Reiner devoted a great deal of their lives for the betterment of our fellow citizens,” the statement continued. “They were a special force together – dynamic, unselfish and inspiring. We were their friends, and we will miss them forever.”

Reiner and his wife’s own love story played a significant role in “When Harry Met Sally.”

Back in 2018, the famed director revealed that he was inspired to change the ending of the film after falling for Michele, who was working as a photographer at the time, on set.

“I’d been single for 10 years, and I couldn’t figure out how I was ever going to be with anybody. That gave birth to ‘When Harry Met Sally,’” Reiner told the Guardian seven years before his death.

“I hadn’t met anybody, so it was going to be the two of them seeing each other after years, talking, and then walking away from each other,” he added.

However, meeting Michele inspired Reiner to change the ending to a happier one.

“I met her while we were making the film, and I changed the ending,” he explained. “Originally, Harry and Sally didn’t get together. But then I met Michele and I thought: OK, I see how this works.”

The commercial saw the pair revisit Katz’s Deli, where the movie’s iconic “I’ll have what she’s having” scene was shot.

“It smells exactly like it did 36 years ago when we made it,” Crystal told The Post regarding his return to the Lower East Side pastrami palace. “It was so much fun to be out there at the same table.”

“There was nothing weird about it — it didn’t feel like, ‘Woah surreal,’” Ryan added. “We had a whole room of people wanting to be in on the joke. That was really adorable.”
