The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, have shared a new family photograph that will be featured on their Christmas card for 2025.
The image, released on Kensington Palace’s social media, shows William and Catherine sitting on the grass among spring daffodils, surrounded by their children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
In the photo, ten-year-old Charlotte is resting her head on her father’s shoulder and holding onto his arm, while a relaxed Louis is leaning back between William’s legs. Catherine has her arm wrapped around George.

This family snapshot was taken by photographer Josh Shinner in Norfolk in April and appears to be part of the same photoshoot that captured portraits for George’s 12th birthday and Louis’s seventh birthday.

The Wales family is spending the festive season together and is expected to join the King and the rest of the royal family at Sandringham in Norfolk on Christmas Day.
Recently, the family of five underwent a significant change when they moved into their eight-bedroom “forever home,” known as Forest Lodge, located in Windsor Great Park. This move is seen as a fresh start for the Wales family, especially after Kate’s recovery from cancer, which she publicly announced at the beginning of 2025 following what William described as a “brutal” year in 2024.
Last year, the couple shared a Christmas card that held personal significance, featuring a photograph from the video in which Catherine announced the end of her chemotherapy.
