From Candy Burus’s divorce to Iris Kendall and TJ Palmer’s postvilla reunion, there were some major reality TV relationship shakeups this year, taking a look back at some of the most shocking reality TV relationship splits and successes of 2025. In November, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Candy Burus announced she’d be filing for divorce from music producer Todd Tucker on Instagram. The announcement came over 11 years after the couple tied the knot back in 2014. Over in Bachelor Nation, Bachelorette and Traders [music] alum Gabby Wendy and comedian Robbie Hoffman eloped back in January, waiting until March to share the exciting news. Although they didn’t get engaged, the Golden Bachelorettees Mel Owens and Peg Mson have been going steady since they committed to one another during the show’s season 2 finale. [music] But things weren’t as rosy for other members of Bachelor Nation. Matt James and Rachel Kirk Connell, who paired up on season 25 of The Bachelor, split after four years together in January. Season 21 Bachelorette Jen Tran also split with Herbo, Dancing with the Stars professional Sasha Farber. The pair sparked a romance while competing together on the show’s 33rd season, and sources confirmed they called it quits in June after less than a year of dating. The Love Island cast had some major switch-ups this year. Season seven finalist Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia Gonzalez broke up a month after the show wrapped in July. However, [music] Iris rekindled her connection with fellow contestant TJ Palama, making [music] their relationship Instagram official in September. As for TLC reality stars, Jon and Kate plus 8 alum John Goslin married Stephanie Lebo in November. Two of J’s kids, Colin and Hannah, whom he shares with ex-wife Kate Goslin, attended the ceremony.
